A wedding is a union between two people, their families and their friends. It is a day most will live only once. You will create the memory. We will dress it.
We work by laws handed down by the great cutters before us: how a shoulder sits, where a lapel rolls, how cloth moves when a man raises a glass or takes his first dance. Within those laws there is every freedom. But we do not break them.
Allow around three months. Every wedding begins with a first fitting.
The Groom’s Suit
No two weddings are alike. The season, the setting, the culture and the dress code all shape the suit, and your personality makes it yours. Some men arrive certain. Most arrive with a feeling they can’t yet put into words. Either way, by the end of the first fitting you will know exactly what you are wearing. You lead, we listen.
Groomsmen
Your groomsmen should look like they belong together, without looking like a uniform. Each man is measured and cut on his own, then brought into line through the cloth and details you choose, so the tallest and the shortest both look right beside you. We fit them around their schedules and hand the suits over together, so you are not chasing anyone in the final weeks.
The Fathers
Your father and your new father-in-law deserve to stand beside you with the same confidence. We dress them alongside the wedding party, not inside it, in whatever cloth and style suits them. A cut built for the man, not the moment.
The Tuxedo
This is where the sartorial laws matter most. A tuxedo is not the place to be different for the sake of it. It is traditional attire, worn rarely, perhaps only once, and it should look as right in photographs decades from now as it does on the day. We hold to tradition in the cut, whether you choose single or double breasted, a shawl or a peak lapel. How we accessorise it is where your aesthetic comes in. We make our own bow ties, either pre-tied and ready to wear, or self-tie, so you shape the knot and the look yourself, and cummerbunds cut from the same cloth as the tie.
